Whenever you want to seek the guidance and blessings of
Saints and Sages, or Gods for that matter, you put them in the altar in the
form of silver triangle and do your prayers by drawing Reiki symbols.
You will be able to receive their grace and rays of love
from them.
While doing the prayer, make an affirmation, “I OPEN to
GRACE and RAYS of LIGHT and LOVE of …. (NAME of the SAINT)”

God is energy and Reiki is his form.When we send Reiki to god,
doesn't it looks like sending his blessing and energy to him back?

Everything in this universe is his.
While taking his food (because he is giving the food) are
you stealing his food? Don’t you offer him the food first and take?
Under the same concept only the above post was written.
By offering him Reiki, (Though Reiki is universal, once you
become the channel, it is individualized). You are giving that expressing your
thanks and gratitude.
